Movie Story: A Death at the Gunj is really a coming of age story which centers around Shutu, the protagonist, along with his conflicted notions of masculinity. He finds himself browsing the fuzzy lines of what’s accepted in society and also concerns his own area in the whole world. The regular callousness of those adults around him leads to his extreme feelings of honor even though being surrounded by his loved ones. The psychological violence which we as a society inflict upon others accidentally is what cumulatively contributes to a sort of destruction that’s irrevocable.
